Reunited


Handwritten registry of deaths of the Potts family.

Found in "The Life of our Blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" by the Rev. John Fleetwood. Published by Phillips, Sampson and Co., 1850.

I found this sheet over the weekend, and did my best at some internet sleuthing. After several hours, I was able to find a descendant of the Potts family that lives locally and successfully delivered it back home.

    A contagious illness must have taken the children. How kind of you to return the document to the Potts family. Your finds are fascinating and I look forward to your posts.

    Yep, I thought about something like an epidemic too. Four children departed in 18 days ! That must have been devastating.
