2 lbs. carrots - clean and slice, then cook in salted water until tender; cool. Then combine the ff. ingredients:
2 lg onion, sliced into rings
1 lg pepper, cut into strips
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup tomato soup
1 teas. dry mustard
1 teas. Worcestershire
Refrigerate. Marinate for 4 hrs. Stir once in a while

ReplyDeleteHA! This happens to be a recipe that my family makes only at Easter. Marinated carrots goes so well with ham. It is one of my favorites from my childhood.
