I'm wondering if that postmark date is August 26, 1910--especially in light of the one cent postage on it and the font used on the postcard.

ReplyDeleteHm, you might be right. There's no zipcode on the postmark, either. I guess I just assumed after seeing the book it was in.
ReplyDeleteI think Alisa is correct, taken with the fact of the lack of house number and zip code in the address. I was going to suggest a common name for trout, but looking closely, Candace is also correct, it is deceiving how the word is written brokenly, but when you compare the p written elsewhere it is a match. You have the smartest readers Michael!
