Oh my gosh - The Little Lame Prince and The Happy Hollisters - I had (and read) those books when I was a kid...I'm not entering the giveaway, just commenting....
Vintage children's books are the best! Several of these kept me company during months in a hospital when I was a child. Would love to win them and enjoy them again.
At the circus, on the plains, in the hills, hills, hills We the readers learn to get all our thrills, thrills, thrills; Mystery mountain, at the seashore, in the snow, snow, snow We the readers follow those we know, know, know:
The Bobbsey twins, the Saddle Boys, the girls of Meadow Brook -- Oh, the pleasure of rollicking adventure book! Happy Hollisters, Camp Fire Girls and the Walton Boys All remain one of our life's best joys!
Can you tell I love this kind of book? I have saved all of mine from childhood but don't have any of these. I remember the Birds' Christmas Carol, too -- a pathetic Dickensian tale! Please pick me!
My granddaughters love to read and are the right ages to read these books. I have tried to buy them books several times a year to add to their growing library.
