This week's giveaway is just one book, but it's a lovely one. Lewis Carroll's "Through The Looking Glass" published by Altemus, 1897. This volume has the Tenniel illustrations, a few of which are in full color. Sadly, the binding is not the best, but what it lacks in structural integrity it makes up for with charm.
Contest closed, I'll announce a winner in a few minutes.

ReplyDeleteOne of my childhood favourites ... I have a strong memory of seeing his "JT" symbol in this book's illustrations and for the first time realizing that yes, the pictures in books were drawn by *real* people. I think I must have been about 3 at the time, and had just learned my ABCs ...
