With Forgotten Bookmarks, Jr. (my first) due in a few months, I've already started thinking about the library I'll put together for the little squirt. As I was making my list, I thought it would be a great idea to offer up a similar selection of children's classics for all of you. The pictures above show what I came up with - by no means a complete library, but not a bad start.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter just introduced me to your fab sight, knowing of course I too am fascinated with books, old and new! I work in a public library, and am amazed at the interesting bookmarks I discover when books are returned. I try to call as many patrons as I can about the lost items, but some fall into the bin before we can tell which book they came from! Quite tragic really! Well, enough rambling! I am enjoying your clever and interesting comments and the wonderful books you feature. Thank you, and happy posting!
