Ed: Padres won 6-4. Ed Whitson (!) went the distance for the win. There were three triples in the game, including one by Fred McGriff. Marty Barrett went 0-3 in one of the last appearances of his career.
I'm impressed that the bookmark (ticket) predates the book by 13 years. I wonder where it was all that time?
